Activities
- St John's has a four part choir which sings at the 9.30am service and once a month at the evening service. The weekly practice is on Friday evenings. - We have a full range of Scouts, Guides, Cubs and Brownies meeting both at St John's and Trinity church halls. Please contact the Parish Office for further details. admin@loughtonchurch.org.uk (020 8532 0060)
- A group of Mums, Dads and Carers with young children from birth to school age meet weekly at both St John's and Trinity. This is an excellent opportunity to meet socially. Please contact the parish office who will be able to provide you with appropriate contact details
- The tower at St John's contains a peal of bells and the bell-ringers practice on Tuesday evenings and ring every Sunday morning and for weddings when required. Contact the Parish Office for further details.
- The parish has a branch of the 'Mothers Union' . The enrolling member is Ivy Southgate and can be contacted through the Parish Office.
- The 'St John's Wives' is a social group of church and non-church members who meet in the church hall on a fortnightly basis. The Parish Office can give fuller details.
- We are in the process of developing some 'House Groups' in the parish which will provide the opportunity to take part in discussions and bible study.
- A Literature Group meets in Trinity Church Hall to discuss a pre-arranged novel.
